Barra de sonido Skywave X70 7.1.4

I bought this 4 months ago after my d50 and love it, it works really well and shakes my room when I play music, the surround sound is amazing. Overall a great product.

The Ultimea Skyward X70 has been an outstanding addition to my home setup, and after using it for a while, I can confidently say it delivers far beyond expectations for its price range. The sound quality is impressively rich and well-balanced, with deep bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs, making everything from movies to music feel immersive and detailed. Setup was quick and hassle-free, and the design looks sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my living space. I especially appreciate the clarity of dialogue during movies and the powerful surround effect that really enhances the overall experience. Connectivity has been seamless, and I haven’t run into any issues with performance or reliability. Overall, it feels like a premium sound system without the premium price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their audio experience.

I purchased the Skywave F30 Boom on 11/27/25. I was so impressed that by 12/10/25 I had paid the difference to trade up to the Skywave X70. Once I received my new Skywave X70 I set it up right away ///// I am a audiophile and a movie junkie. I have a Harmon Kardon AVR1600 7.1 receiver and a speaker setup that when cranked you can't talk over. Is this relevant, yes. So as many people experience built-in speakers on modern HDTV's simply put suck. The worst issue with built-in speakers on HDTV’s is that no matter how much tweaking, voices can be muddy and over run by the other sounds in what you are watching and the second issue is that volume control does not allow anyone to set the volume at their "ideal" volume as volume control is indent volume. How I miss the days of infinite volume control, meaning a dial, to where you could find that sweet spot. That is where my Harmon Kardon shines as it has an infinite volume dial. The Skywave series soundbar/speaker systems are lacking in this feature as none, not the Skywave F30 Boom, not the Skywave X70, and not the Skywave X100 Dual, have infinite volume control but they should. ///// Now I have all of the adjustments I need with my Harmon Kardon setup but it would be nice to just "keep it simple" sometimes. Enter ULTIMEA. ///// Once I got it, hooking it up via HDMI eARC was very simple and with CEC enabled it turns on and off with my HDTV. The Bluetooth App lets me tweak everything on the fly but you can also do that with the remote control as well (I recommend using the App first and keep the remote as a backup. ///// So now the nuts and bolts. Is the Skywave X70 better than built-in speakers on a TV? Hands down yes. Does this beat my Harmon Kardon? It too close to call, however my Harmon Kardon supports most audio formats. The Skywave X70 makes up for missing audio formats with the Dolby Atmos which the Harmon Kardon. I did not know what I was missing. Having sounds coming from overhead adds a whole different dimension to the listening experience. It is a more immersive audio experience. While I am enjoying my Skywave X70, I can’t wait for my Skywave X100 Dual to get here. ///// My neighbor has a Bose Smart Soundbar with Bass Module 500 that supports Dolby Atmos and the Skywave F30 Boom (360 Watts) outclassed it. Now that I have Skywave X70 (980 Watts) the Bose doesn’t stand a chance. I can’t wait to get my Skywave X100 Dual (2000 Watts)

The sound wave X70 is the closest thing to a Bose you can get. It is amazing. I can’t even get the sound pass 30 without everything in my house shaking much love guys. I sound bar for lifedefinitely recommend this and I will recommend it till the day that I pass on.

I was skeptical at first about this brand and unit. I foolishly waited and did not get the early bird deal!! I love the X70, it literally fixes all the issues that I had with my other sound systems. I get to fine tune the eq and select the modes on the fly. It sounds very good for just a “soundbar system”. It competes and beats in most areas, my old analog party system. I would buy the next system to upgrade this one when they put it out even though I just bought this one. Great company and products.

Very impressed with the Skywave x70. Love it's sleek black with gold trim look. Sound quality is superb!! For the price it is the best sounding system we know of. Good competitor vs those that cost even 3x more... possibly even better🤯. The 10 inch subwoofer is of quality build (solid/heavy wood). Also elegant black with gold details. The bass is Movie theater style... very good rumble! Our living room is pretty small so we very rarely raise it over 15/out of 60+ volume! Bass at -4 unless gaming or cinema. Honestly😅, we have never raised it to the max. Overall 10 out of 10!! Everyone who has heard it ends up in awe if I raise the volume over 20.

Skywave X70 Soundbar Review – A Home Theater Powerhouse with One Catch If you're looking for a soundbar that will turn your living room into a real movie theater, the Skywave X70 might be the perfect choice. This device isn’t just a piece of equipment—it’s an experience that takes movie watching to a whole new level. From the first moment you turn it on, it’s clear that it was designed for cinephiles who believe sound is half the battle. But is it perfect? Let’s find out. Sound That Moves Walls The Skywave X70 is a phenomenal machine for movies. The bass is deep, dynamic, and literally shakes the floor beneath your feet. Action scenes, explosions, and even subtle sound effects gain a whole new dimension. The rear speakers create an immersive experience, making you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. The subwoofer is a beast—not only does it look impressive, but it also delivers power that rivals many high-end systems. Volume? On my 20 m² (215 ft²) space, 16 out of 100 is more than enough to feel the walls tremble. This isn’t a soundbar for the faint of heart—it’s for those who want to feel the movie, not just hear it. The soundbar itself isn’t heavy, but its size suggests that the manufacturer didn’t skimp on the speakers. The build quality is excellent, and it feels like a device built to last. If you love home theater, the Skywave X70 dominates—in the best possible way. No DTS Support – The One Major Flaw Unfortunately, even the best have their weaknesses. Many films in my collection use DTS audio, and the Skywave X70 doesn’t support it. This is a serious drawback, especially for those who invest in high-quality Blu-ray releases or digital files. The lack of DTS compatibility means some movies won’t sound as they should. If it weren’t for this issue, the competition wouldn’t stand a chance. It’s the only reason I can’t give it a perfect score. Music? Not Its Strong Suit The Skywave X70 is a specialist for movies, but music isn’t its forte. The sound is dry, flat, and lacks the warmth you’d expect when listening to your favorite tracks. If you’re looking for a versatile soundbar for both music and movies, you might be disappointed. This model was designed for cinematic immersion, and in that area, it’s unmatched. But if you want something for music, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Final Verdict: Perfect for Movies, Not for Music The Skywave X70 is a beast that excels in any home theater setup. Its power, bass, and spatial audio are pure joy for fans of action, sci-fi, or horror films. However, the lack of DTS support and weak musical performance are downsides worth considering before purchasing. Who is it for? Cinephiles who want to feel the movie in their bones. Those who appreciate powerful, dynamic sound and aren’t afraid of loud, intense sessions. People who don’t need a soundbar for music. Who should avoid it? Audiophiles who want versatility and flawless sound in every scenario. Those with a collection of DTS-encoded films. The Skywave X70 App – Intuitive and Feature-Packed One of the standout features of the Skywave X70 is its dedicated app, which is surprisingly intuitive and user-friendly. Navigating through the settings is a breeze, even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. All the essential controls—from equalizer adjustments and sound modes to volume calibration and surround sound settings—are right at your fingertips. Whether you want to fine-tune the bass, switch between movie and dialogue modes, or adjust the rear speakers, the app makes it simple. It’s clear that the developers focused on practicality and ease of use, ensuring that you spend less time fiddling with settings and more time enjoying your favorite films. The seamless connectivity and responsive interface add to the overall premium experience of the Skywave X70. For anyone who values convenience, this app is a major plus—it puts the power of customization in your hands without unnecessary complications. Rating: 9/10 (would be a 10 if it supported DTS). If home theater is your passion, the Skywave X70 will exceed your expectations. But if you need support for all audio formats or great music playback, you might want to explore other options. For me? It’s the best movie soundbar I’ve ever tested. Review based on my experience with the Skywave X70. Highly recommended for true movie lovers! – Daniel

I recently upgraded my home theater setup from a 60" to a 100" tv, and it only made sense to upgrade the surround sound system as well. I was intrigued by Ultimea's Skywave X70 offering due to its simplicity for a 7.1.4 with minimal parts and full wireless connectivity. The setup was extremely simple and a breeze. After finding the perfect positions for the rear speakers, all that was left to do was plug everything in, and enjoy. I upgraded from a 5.1.2 system with a 6 inch subwoofer, so the X70 sound quality and deep bass seriously blew me away. I've been recommending it to all of my friends and family ever since! If you're considering this system, I think you won't be disappointed!

I was skeptical when i saw such a good looking deal as i was in the market to replace my aging nakamichi system. I took the chance on this and it has paid off. the small wireless satelite speakers are so rich sounding, it sometimes sounds like everything is coming thru them. The up firing speakers truely give a sense of spatial sound to the room and the bass tops it off with window rattling thumps strong enough to restart your heart.

As I write this I am watching a concert on Apple TV in Dolby Atmos and the sound is phenomenal! I feel like I am actually there in the audience and I have it at just level 14 on voice mode, because she was getting washed out on my settings for Standard, Cinema, Music, and Game settings because of the levels of those preset EQ settings are the best sounding with much more power than to customize using the app EQ. So I have just been using the presets and adjusting the bass, mid, and treble in the app. I like that I can adjust the bass right on the remote too, because that is the only level that needs to be adjusted constantly because the bass is so loud on Dolby Atmos movies I have to turn it down so as to not disturb my house mates. And I can't turn it up past 14 cause it is so loud at low levels. I do need to turn it up on Stereo music though, it just doesn't get the Dolby bass boost that Atmos provides, so I turn it way up to 20, LOL. Yes, I know it goes to 100, but I don't think I'll ever turn it up that loud, kinda afraid of stuff falling of the walls or even cracking the foundation of my house. Yes, it's that powerful. As I said in the beginning, I am watching a live concert on Apple TV, which is Gracie Abrams. I have never heard of her before but she has a good sound and I am loving watching this on my new 75" Highsense Dolby Atmos TV and listening to it on my Skywave X70 7.1.4 Sound bar! It's absolutely worth the money and that ain't no lie! I wish I could have this outside with my 35 foot blow up screen that I watch movies on in the backyard on my Ultimea Nova C40 projector that fills the entire screen, all 30 feet, corner to corner, in very vivid detail and it is a great deal as well. Not sure the up firing speakers would be quite the same without a ceiling for the bounce back, but I still think would be so much better than my Ultimea Apollo S70 Soundbar, not that it doesn't do a good job because it's better than any of my cordless Bluetooth speakers, even using TWS pairing for true stereo sound. The Apollo S70 works best in Bluetooth mode just behind the projector, which is actually in front of our seating area for the 30 foot screen. I wish I would have taken some pictures and a short video while I had it all setup to post here, but C'est La'vie. Maybe if I set it up around Christmas for some outside Winter Christmas movies?! Any way, that is my situation and like I said, I LOVE MY SKYWAVE X70 7.1.4 SOUNDBAR! I can feel the bass from the drummer's foot pedal right in my chest and I have the sound level at 14 and the bass level at 0! Not even kidding, this thing has great bass. Like I mentioned earlier, I like that the bass adjust is on the remote, because it is by far the thing you need to adjust the most, maybe a little bit of upfiring and surround speakers, but once you get them at a level you kike for Atmos, you pretty much can just keep them there. You just might adjust them loudest settings on some of the lesser quality 5.1 surround tracks and music of course. Any way, that is all. Have a wonderful time enjoying your Dolby Atmos system!

TopherShaw

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Excellent sound bar! If you want the best in a sound bar this is the best one for the money. Everything works like its supposed to, easy setup! I would highly recommend the X70 series! 👌

Bought the refurbished X70. Had a Bose Cinemate 1 23 that 8 lived, but was 12 years old. Decided to buy the refurb as I had never heard of Ultimea. This thing HITS! Been knocking things off my shelves! Been hearing things from the rear speakers that I've never heard before! Trying to get one of my kids to buy it so I can go after the X100!

I've had this system for about 2 months now. It's amazing, the sound is crisp, and dynamic. The base is great, the adjustments are great too fine tune the EQ. The app is great as well, easy to use and helps to fine tune the system. Back to the base, put on the right tracks or movies and it'll shake the house. Makes you feel like you're in the middle of it. You won't regret it!

Like an earlier reviewer, I took a chance based on a YouTube review. Very glad I did. Product was delivered (to Vancouver, Canada) within days. Setup was fast and easy (embarrassingly the most difficult part was attaching the three sound bar pieces together - it took a little more force than I expected). Speakers were already paired. And if you have a TV with eArc any of the Ultimea, TV or Blu-ray player remote controls will control volume and simple functions. Most importantly, the sound is great. Much nicer bass than on other systems I listened to at the store.
Highly recommend.
